    I just want to be my fiance's wife and go by the name I want. Why does the state think they can dictate my married name?? FUCK YOU, LAWMAKERS! YOU DO NOT REPRESENT ME! FAIL!

      lalaboosh In Oregon there is actually a law that makes it so you can only do these things: get rid of your middle name and have your maiden name as a middle name and take your husband's name, get rid of your maiden name and take your husband's name, hyphenate the names, or keep yours. No other options. :( I'm getting married in Washington legally because of this BS. May 24, 2012 at 3:00 AM
