My name's Laurie. Our family lives in Natrona Heights, Pa. We are about 20 miles from Pittsburgh. My husband, Michael, and I have been married over 17 years. We have 2 sons. Michael J. is 17 and Daniel is 13. We got pregnant with Michael J. 6 weeks after our wedding, so we didn't have a lot of alone time, but we're doing pretty good. He was a welcome member to both of our families. The first baby in my family in 17 years, and the first in my hubby's in 15 years!

Michael is a self-employed plumber. I stay at home and take care of our home and his schedule, etc. Sometimes I have to go to help him if he's desperate! We also just opened a bike & skateboard shop. We're kind of busy!

Michael J. has lots of friends, mostly girls. He would like to go to school to work on special effects in movies. I'll bet he will! He earned his Eagle Scout award in February, 2009 and has the most beautiful smile that you have ever seen! He always has a girlfriend. He broke up with my favorite, but I'll get over it someday!LOL. Not a real fan of the currant one, but whatever.

Daniel has ADHD. He likes riding his dirt bike and skateboard and BMX. He's my baby and we "get" each other. He would never do anything to hurt my feelings. He gives wonderful hugs and is becoming a very nice young man.

We live in the country, but not far from the action of town. Our home is an OLD(1840's), rebuilt farmhouse in a valley surrounded by woods. I love our home. We rebuilt it ourselves, so it took us 12 years to complete. When the boys are gone, we would love to go farther north. A tiny little cabin, surrounded by snow is in my dreams!

I would LOVE to travel. Alaska would be the top of my list. If we were more well off, we probably would travel, but most of the time is pretty tight. Owning a plumbing business isn't as luxurious as it sounds!

We have a dog named Julie, and my 5 kitties, Dickie, Gunther, Mr. Stray, Mickey-Kitty and my baby Pearl.
