What you should know about me.  Ready, I am rather boring, but here goes.

1- Happily married for 18 years.

2- Mother of two outstanding sons, Derek and Chad.  I also have two great stepsons, Mike and Rick.  My "boys" are my life.

3- I am a former teacher, social worker and Nanny Agency Owner.  Due to my medical conditions, I am unable to work.                                                                       

4- I have CVID, Lupus and Sjgroens, but I refuse to let them have me!

5- I am originally from Pennsylvania, but relocated to Southwest Florida 12 years ago.  One of the best choices I have made.

6- I am interested in finding work I can do from home, but not in surveys or MLM type jobs.  I would be better at data entry, if anyone knows of something like that.

7- I am a chocolate addict.  I seriously need rehab, as it is very difficult for me to resist dark chocolate of almost any type.

8- I have the world's most beautiful dog.  Shana is a two year old Brussels Griffon, same species as the dog in "As Good As It Gets" .  We have her groomed differently, we have her beard shaved (no woman should have a full beard!), and her hair is straight and blonde.  Shana loves other dogs so we are considering getting a yorkie, if I can find one that is not too expensive.

9- My interests are gardening, swimming and reading.  I do a great deal of research on child development as I am in the middle of writing a two year curriculum for career nannies. 

10- I do enjoy volunteer work.  Currently I am a peer consultant for other people that have CVID and also I go to schools and doctors offices with materials to familiarize folks about this condition which often goes undiagnosed.  I consider myself to be friendly, and a good person.  At least I do try.

OH, one more addiction, shopping!!
