Heeeeeeeeeeeeeey! Im Tonia, and im excited to meet some mommies like myself! I thought i'd give this a try and so far im liking it. I have one daughter, her name is Luscianna. She was born three days after my 20th birthday, so on 9-18-06. My lil lady is soooo amazing, she's always happy and so so sweet! I was worried cuz ive heard a million times about how terrible I was as a baby (sorry mom!!!). We have been in Austin for nearly four years already, sometimes it still seems like we just got here! We are both very silly girls, so we would have fun anywhere! haha! And after doing the single mama thang, we found someone who fits so well into our lives. His name is TJ and he is just amazing. Well heres a top ten so everyone can get to know me a lil better :)
10) Music- i may not know every artist or every song, but im very much into anything that gets me movin. I LOOOOVE oldies, spanish music, soul, and even country.
9) Traveling- Im so fascinated by different cultures. I love old things, and history. My favorite US city is New Orleans, I cant wait to explore more of the south. Europe is sooo calling me, but I dont have the money to hop the pond at this point. My fiance is Korean, so Ive been thinking about planning a trip there someday too. I have a huge list of places I MUST see, and hope to take my daughter to every one of them with me, and you never know, maybe will just stay once we get where we are going....
8) Food & Wine- I get lost in good food. It can be simple, or crazy, but I cant get enough of it. I love learning about wine and enjoying a great bottle. I am more into old world style, but whats good is good regardless of where it came from or who made it. My favorite is called Chateau Musar
7) Late nights- Im sooooooo not a morning person!
6) make-up/hair/clothes- I love steppin out and lookin fine! Its fun to experiment and try new styles, I havent found my signature yet, but hey I dont take myself that seriously! haha Its just for fun, I LOVE being a girl.
5) Reading- My sisters were always like "tonia, dude, stop reading!!!!!" Im addicted, though. I get such a thrill out of good literature, and I love the newspaper. slightly nerdy, sorry :)
4) being independent- It kills me when i have to depend on anyone for anything. i believe every woman needs to be her own person, with her own plan, and if a man can find a way to fit in then hes a lucky mofo haha!
3) karma (or the general principle of it)- do unto others as you would have them do unto you...its simple give a lil, get a lil
2) Learning (but NOT school!)- almost nothing makes me happier than simply knowing things haha weird i know
ONE) OF COURSE! Mah baby girl!!!! She makes life so complete, fun, fulfilling, and challenging. I love watching her grow up even if i wish she'd stay a baby forever!
