I am in the Army Reserves. I have been deployed to support the fight in Afghan, Iraq, and Kuwait.. While I was deployed overseas my adopted daughter Kiersten was born and my husband and mother-inlaw cared for her while I completed my tour. I arrived home in June this year to my beautiful baby and my loving husband and family.. Woohoo!!! it's good to be home and away from the sand box.. I hope I never have to see that place again...
So sorry it has taken me a while to return your message... I still have been pretty sick. If you ever want to talk, please feel free to send me a message! Thanks for your kind words about my personal statement and the wishes that I get better.
No worries - I'm glad we're not offending each other...it is so difficult to get emotion to show through in an email... :) Adoption on all sides is definitely no easy journey that is for sure - if you want to chat I'm here...Have a great weekend.
I just wanted to say congratulations on your adoption . I am an adoptee (32 years ago) and I must say that Children like your daughter and I are truly blessed they have a mother who wants and loves them more than anything and another mother who loved them enough to give them a chance to have a better life. Sometimes their are angels on earth. And you are one of them! God Bless you!
Oh no.. please dont think that.. darn emails they are so enpersonnal.. You did not offend me. Its just some people do not understand how it all works.. Sorry if I offended you.. Oh how hard it must be/have been to do such a selfless thing.. You are a true star in my eyes. It is women like you that make it possible for people like me to become mothers and Im so glad to have meet you.
