    I think I opened the playing field with my mother when I was pregnant with our daughter. I bottomed lined her and told her she sucked as a parent and I am not having this with mine. She has been the best grandparent since.

    Ditto on that playing field. I am glad we too have an open talkative relationship as well. She comes to me with everything. I sometimes go to my mother for a little advice, but my mother says I am doing better then she ever did when I was that age. But she loves hearing her granddaughters love life. More on this side of life.

    I see your comment. Our 11 year old daughter came home and told us that a friend of hers told her a boy liked her but was too shy to say anything. She approached the boy and told him she liked him. She says she isn't sure where to go from here. I told her the ball is in his court now. I have no idea where this is going and I hope they wait until hi school to figure this out.
