Hello girls- I'm Jessica, but you can call me Jessie.  First of all i would like to say i am a very proud Christian. I speak to Jesus everyday and i thank him for the good things in my life and I ask for him for forgiveness, and strength  to help someone in need. I have so many blessings in my life. I do try to give back whenever and however I can. I grew up dirt poor in a mixed race home (my mother is Puerto Rican My father was Irish). Things were not always happy there. My mother was very unstable. I got used to lots of violence and substance abuse. I worked hard at school and earned a scholarship to Stanford University. I truly believe that anything is possible in America and with God in my life. I am a crisis counselor and happily married to a Human Rights attorney. I am a mother to a very bright, gifted girl. Which is a challenge all in itself. I love politics and I am very passionate about it.  I have proudly been a Democrat as long as I can remember which can be hard since I live in the very red state of South Carolina. But I LOVE South Carolina and I believe we can change it to blue. I am VERY active in the Pro- Choice movement. But that does not mean i don't value others opinions.
