  • Personal Statement

    I'm 19 and I live in Austin tx with my boyfriend who is the father of our chid. We've been together for almost four years and its been rough but we really do love eachother. Our daughter was born April 15th 2009 at 10:06 p.m. I had a midwife during my pregnancy and we planned to have a home birth but this little girl just wasn't going to come out without some help. I really wish we could have had our natural birth, but I am just so happy that she was born big and healthy, Nine pound and Six ounces to be exact. I'm going to the University of Texas at Austin in the Fall.

    I do NOT believe that you can spoil a baby. They are pretty much helpless and if my daughter wants to be held then who am I to deny her of that privlage. Besides when she gets older shes going to want to be away from me. Right now mommy and daddy are all she wants so I'm going to embrace it while I can.

    We are happily breastfeeding. I don't know how long I plan to do it for, all I know is that she LOVES to eat and I love to nurse her.
