  • Personal Statement

    I love my husband and my kids. I have three children of my own and two step children. I have been married to my husband for ten years. I wish I had married him first and all our kids were mine and his together. I have enjoyed my kids so much and am kind of sad my baby is 16. I realized a few years ago when my oldest had a baby we are only in a parent - child relationship with our children for twenty or so years and the remaining forty or fifty years we are in adult relationships with them. I love my grand-baby. I hate the thought of me being a grandma. I am not old!

    Thank you for the warm welcome and yes my day is so much better today than it was yesterday all though I must say it's sort of like a frozen lake.........kind of iffy in spots......LOL

    We live in the north $ yes, it is very economically depressed. Plus, our target people group are the poorest of the lot. Many of our people live in houses made of plywood or cardboard and if they have a roof, there usually isn't glass in the windows nor a door. It is late fall. For most of this week, it was warm - high 70s low 80s - but it rained last night and right now it is 48 degrees and dropping. You didn't ask too much - I love talking about where I live and those I work with.
