The new season of Project Runway begins Thursday July 28th! Don't forget to watch and then head over to the boards to discuss. (Or come on over now and discuss all things Project Runway!)

My name's Crystal. I'm a married, professional 30-something, living near Charleston, SC.

My husband Sean and I have just adopted our first child after more than 3 years of trying to adopt. Our son, Emory, was born in September and we are overjoyed at his arrival.

While we are content to enjoy our little man for a short while, we already know that we'd love to add to our family again soon. If you (or someone you know) is interested in making an adoption plan for your child, we'd love to talk with you and get to know you better.

    Our Adoption Website

    QUICK FACTS ABOUT US:

    * Happily Married for 11 years - known each other and have been best friends & neighbors since we were 10!

    * Stable, loving relationship based on being friends and partners first. We have so much love to give that we cannot imagine not sharing it with a child or two in our lives.

    * Young, professional, 30-something couple, both currently telecommuting for our jobs. We would both be stay-at-home parents. We believe in raising our children, not having daycare do it for us.

    * We live in a comfortable 2-story, 4 bedroom, 2.5 bath home nearby to historic Charleston, SC. Great access to history, culture, the beach, and many fun adventures.

    * We strongly value education and want to provide a college education for our children. Opportunities for enrichment, personal pursuits, sports and hobbies will be encouraged throughout life.

    * Our family is supportive in our decision to adopt and are ready to meet our little angels. They are overjoyed at our son's arrival and are ready to welcome a new child into our family already.

    * We plan to pursue an open adoption, with the level of openess determined mutually with our children's birthfamily. Birthfamily means just that: siblings, grandparents, and extended family too!

    * We currently enjoy an open adoption with our son's family and hope that we can do the same with future adoptions. Adoption has brought more than just a child into our lives, but the blessing of an entire group of people brought together through the love of that child.

    * We are open regarding gender and ethnic heritage. A family is created through love and skin color should not be the deciding variable in its creation. We love our son so very much. We plan on continuing to openly encourage explorations of his proud, and beautiful, African American culture.

    * We are a medically diagnosed infertile couple. Without adoption, our dreams of becoming parents would not happen. We always dreamed of having a large family and we're just praying to meet the right person(s) to help us make that dream a reality.
