- Since the Mom of this clan is a bit shy, I, (DH) will go out on a short limb to describe her. In 1986 she married me, (a GI who had a service connected disability with chronic pain for six years with no hope of ever getting better,) and basically saved my life. Most people get divorced after one of them develops a life-long disability or illness rather than marrying someone who does. Then, with a disabled husband, she also raised two fine young men. The older just finished 7 years active duty USAF and is now in the reserves, including several tours to the war zones, (And made mom a gma!) . The younger survived a near-fatal Brain-bleed at age 13, and is now a Micro-biology major at UCSF and is spending the summer helping dad attempt to break free of disability pay by starting a LASER company with a patented and FDA registered technology that even the mighty GE couldn't make! (My son, brother and I.) With me being a cancer/radiation survivor we set out to make an X-Ray aid to help reduce dosage to the patient. Darling Wife/Mom has carried the load of having the household to run, plus a disabled husband who is pushing his limits of his health, and running her own Therapeutic Massage business, (Her skills in that regard are what enable DH to contribute what he does to the other business.
So, in summary; she raised two fine men, kept a husband with chronic pain from giving up, carried the family while we invented and pushed through FDA and USTPO a patient positioning system that helps reduce X-Ray exposure, and is the Love of my life!
