10 Things Everyone Should Know About Me

1.  My family is my life and they are what I protect at all costs.  My dh is a pastor and an Army Chaplaincy Candidate who works very hard to provide for us and my kids are 7, 4, and 2 and they are absolutely incredible.  I also have two sisters and they along with my parents are a big part of my support system.  We all have very different beliefs but still manage to be close.

2.  I am a Christian and proud of it.  However, I will never shove my beliefs down your throat or put you down for believing differently.

3.  I love to read and will read anything I can get my hands on.  Some of my favorite authors are James Patterson, Mary Higgins Clark, Karen Kingsbury, Frank Peretti, Nora Roberts (J.D. Robb), J.K. Rowling, John Jakes, etc.

4.  Currently my fave music is folk/acoustic kind of stuff although I am really bad at remember artists names.  I love anything except heavy metal and rap.  Some of my favorite artists/groups are Rascall Flatts, Daughtry, Stellar Kart, Casting Crowns, Fiona Apple, Natalie Merchant, Indigo Girls, ummm my mind is going blank so I will add more later.

5.  I hate people who abuse their children. Nuff said.

6.  I am a Republican and am all into researching all the candidates right now.  I believe that this election could be one of the most important in American history.

7.  I support the War in Iraq and believe if we withdraw without securing borders, WW3 is imminent.

8.  I love the outdoors and spend a good bit of time out there.  We like to hike and are hoping to start camping more now that our kids are not so small.  I would also like to learn how to shoot a gun and a bow.  Don't know that I am all that interesting in hunting but I would like to learn how to use the weapons.

9.  My favorite place to vacation is Charleston, SC and I would love to be there right now.

10.  I am a big advocate of saying what you mean and meaning what you say.  I have a lot of respect for people who will say what they believe no matter what it costs and whether or not I believe them.  I believe the world would be a much better place if people would simply quit bitching and do something to further the things they believe in.
