What you do not want others to do to you, do not do unto others. -Confucius
Books are uniquely portable magic. – Stephen King
I cannot live without books. – Thomas Jefferson
Yesterday is history. Tomorrow is a mystery. And today? Today is a gift. That's why we call it the present. –Babtunde Olatunji
Those who would give up Essential Liberty to purchase a little Temporary Safety, deserve neither Liberty nor Safety. – Benjamin Franklin
You used to be fun. You used to be warped and twisted and hilarious... and I mean that in the best way - I mean it as a compliment! –Lloyd Dobler “Say Anything”
It is a wholesome and necessary thing for us to turn again to the earth and in the contemplation of her beauties to know of wonder and humility. –Rachel Carson
Humanism is, in sum, a philosophy for those in love with life. Humanists take responsibility for their own lives and relish the adventure of being part of new discoveries, seeking new knowledge, exploring new options. Instead of finding solace in prefabricated answers to the great questions of life, Humanists enjoy the open-endedness of a quest and the freedom of discovery that this entails. –Frederick Edwords
The Humanist lives as if this world were all and enough. He is not otherworldly. He holds that the time spent on the contemplation of a possible afterlife is time wasted. He fears no hell and seeks no heaven, save that which he and others created on earth. He willingly accepts the world that exists on this side of the grave as the place for moral struggle and creative living. He seeks the life abundant for his neighbor as for himself. He is content to live one world at a time and let the next life—if such there may be—take care of itself. He need not deny immortality; he simply is not interested. His interests are here. –Edwin H. Wilson
Religions are all alike- founded upon fables and mythologies . -Thomas Jefferson

I'm sorry for Natalie's not so great teacher:( That can really discourage a child. Hopefully she will learn to just do what she has to do to pass. Sucks doesn't it? I'm busy volunteering at the kid's school. Been fighting a cough/headcold for 2 1/2 weeks. Finally getting over it...lol.
