God has richly blessed me and I give thanks for this today.
Each of us has received many treasured blessings throughout our lives. Some are treasures of health care, of home, safe travel, education, family and friends. Some are sacred memories. My treasure chest is open so that I can give and receive blessings freely. It is also true of the heart. Is the lid of your heart closed? It so then you can neither give nor receive?

The keys to opening your heart to receive more treasures from God are gratitude and generosity. Your response of Thanksgiving is the key to opening and enjoying the treasures God has for you. Generosity is the act of faith that helps to keep you secure in the knowledge of two very important things. 1) You can never generate enough treasure on your own to open your heart to God's love; and 2) While giving to God you are placing your trust and faith in the source of all treasure. A grateful heart is an open heart, a heart that both receives and gives.
As you consider the blessings in your life during the coming weeks, please take a few moments in prayer as you remember to give thanksgiving to God.

Tell you about myself? That is not easy. Where do i start? Well, I am a dual citizen with Canada and the U.S., born in Ontario and proud of my heritage. I am a mother of three beautifully wonderful adolescent children, also dual citizens.
A true Cancerian crab, I love to nurture others. I am a fun-loving, sensitive, stubborn, caring person, loyal to a fault and always trying to see the good in people. I wear my heart on my sleeve but can be quick to retreat into my shell if it suits my mood which can turn from laughter to tears instantaneously at times.
After many turns along the road of life, I suddenly found myself in college right along side my children where I work hard to excel.
I look forward to meeting people in all walks of life. Make new friends but keep the old. One is silver, the other gold.
