I like to be fully informed so I can make an actual choice. Which also means I can't stand lies. I read a LOT of non-fiction and watch a LOT of documentories.
I don't want to sit around swallowing up the advertised culture, texting gossip about celebrities on the iphone in an SUV on the way from suburbia to Walmart to buy an X-box 360. I really can't deal with anymore people who live that way.
I drive a Prius, ride a bike and use public trasportation. I want someone to teach me how to garden organically. I feel guilty for adding to the massive and unsustainable world population. I fight with pediatricians and daycare providers because I don't agree with modern scientists that anti-bodies=immunity, nor that vaccines are good. I get into fights with Christians because the bible as we know it is shaped with a specific intent and not exactly the unfallible word of God-yet I have a relationship with God. I get into fights with dems and republicans because our system is flawed and both sides are forced on the national level to be corporate puppets in order to get into a place of power. I get into fights with people who watch tv news because they buy into the percieved accuracy and impartial reporting so thoroughly. It's tough having such an active mind and not being able to swim with the current, but I simply must refuse to accept all the BS.
