I had my first son when I was 21. I was not married &  my family was not happy. I was excited but scared. Having him changed my life completely! At 23 I had my 2nd son...still not married! (same dad) My life changed some more! When my 2nd son was 11mo old I left their dad. He was an unemployed drug addict who started to show signs of becoming violent towards me. SO...I left! I was making $10/hr at the time! I vowed that I would buy a house for my 2 boys to grow up in. At the age of 25 I did that! For 6 years I worked & took care of my wonderful boys. That was my life! No dating or anything. When I was 30 a friend of mine asked if I would like to go on a date with her new neighbor. He was looking to meet a nice girl. After much hesitation I said "I guess so"! He had actually graduated from the same high school as me a year before me and we never knew eachother. The rest is history. We met in 2005 & got married in August of 2008. I now am the mom to my 2 bio sons and stepmom to his 6 year old son. Surrounded by boys and I love it! Because of the downturn in the economy I am now a stay at home mom! What a blessing in disguise getting laid off is! I NEVER thought I would get to stay home with my kids! God is good!
