I am weird.  I am normally very shy in person until you get to know me, but not online, and not if it comes to defending my family esp my child or my friends. It takes a lot for me to lose my temper, but when I do, it usually ends badly. 

My two best friends are my best friend from high school, and my husband.  Except for my bff, my circle of friends is only my family.  My mom and dad are still married to each other...it'll be 50 years on 6/28/13.  They are my heroes. 

I love books almost as much as I love my family.  Almost.  It's close, and some days it's reversed!!  

I love animals, probably more so than most people. 

I learned to scuba dive in 2006, and have dived all over the Caribbean, including Grand Cayman, the Bahamas and Key West.  Got to dive with sharks twice--once in Freeport, Bahamas where the reef sharks were very shy and kept a distance...and in Key West, where a nurse shark decided to show us her favorite feeding spot on the reef and almost ran me over swimming to it.
