Hi everyone! My name is Amy and I am 29 years old. My DH and I have been TTC #1 since June 06. We have had 2 miscarriages since beginning this journey- one "conceived" on our own, the other with the help of clomid and IUI's. Most recently I have been diagnosed with MTHFR which is a condition that doesn't properly use foliate in the body. This can lead to miscarriage, still births, and birth defects. I am being treated with extra folic acid and B vitamins so hopefully the next pregnancy will be okay.  Now all we have to do is get me pregnant!  The dr has decided that we've had enough of the clomid.  We are on now to follistim (injectables) and  will continue IUI's.  I see multiples in my future!  Whatever it takes! 

This journey has been educational, emotional, lonely, hopeful... what a roller coaster! We pray that we will be blessed with a family soon.

A few personal details- I am a kindergarten teacher. I love to scrapbook and am trying to be a better gardener. We live in the suburbs of Chicago, have lived in this area all my life.
