I'm a working mom of two. I love to read and watch HBO series.I'm here to meet other mom's with the same ideas I have about raising children. Mine are a little eccentric to some.I'm just not down with carry a baby around or picking one up at the first little whimper.As long as my older daughter isn't bleeding and no limbs are at odd angles I let her shake off her falls and spills on her own,which she does often.I work at night and my husband works during the day so we only have two days a week where we really spend time together as a family.I'm very big though on eating dinner at the table with the whole family if we could do it every night we would.I think that is one of the best times to have family conversation although my oldest is only two she still sits with us and eats and participates to the best of her little ability.Hopefully when they get older we'll be able to sit down most nights and eat together.I don't have very many friends and I'm hoping to meet some good ones here.
