First and foremost, I try to live a Christian life. That does not mean I am perfect. I just make a lot of mistakes and need Jesus to pick me up, dust me off, and send on the right way to Him. I am married and I have a son who was born on Oct.7, 2003 and who is the center of my life and the one whom a lot of strength comes from. I am also a mom that works 40 hours a week who misses my boy every hour I'm away from him. I would lay down my life for my son and would probably go to jail if, God forbid, someone hurt him. I define myself as his mom. I'm not perfect but I try to be more and more of a Christian everyday that I live. -

Our Special Life
Oliver was born after having suffered a stroke while in his mother's womb. The resulting brain injury is called Dysautonomia (Autonomic Dysfunction). His doctors believe the stroke was the result of the miscarriage of his twin. Oliver is completely blind and his underdeveloped brain stem makes basic physical functions a challenge. In spite of all this, he is a happy, go-lucky, 12-year-old boy, and his mom wants people to meet the real Oliver, not just his medical hardships.
