Steri Strips Falling Off!

ust 12 days after his lamenectomy and Cayden's steri strips have begun to fall off of the incision area. Since his surgery Cayden has been doing fine and hasn't slowed down one bit. Mom and Dad are a bit nervous at times that he may get hurt but we are relieved that he's back to his normal self. The post-op appointment is set for Thursday and hopefully then they will say that he can go back to taking baths and maybe even go swimming.

or the first time since she was 14 months old we were able to get Alyssa into a pool. She was a little reluctant at first and would only go in as long as she had on both her arm floaties and her fish floatie and Daddy promised to hold on to her but after a little while she relaxed and started floating around on her own. Before we left she even went back in with only her arm floaties on. Mommy and Daddy are so proud of her for getting into the water and facing her fear. She did a great job!

n September 4, 2008, Cayden took his first step. This small step towards walking is a giant leap towards toddlerhood! His mom is incredibly proud and taking this new development one step at a time.

I'm a SAHM of two. My daughter is 4 and my son is 8 months old. We are originally from the New Orleans area and left due to Hurricane Katrina. My husband and I have been together for 5 years (married for 2). My family is my life and I wouldn't change it for the world. I enjoy reading, writing, crafts, and music.
