Hello.  I am a mother of 3 children and 2 step-children.  The 2 older girls live with their other parents but they visit us.  I live in Virginia.  My husband is in the Army here at Fort Belvoir.  We were both born and raised in Florida and finally made a move out of state to North Carolina after 30 years.  We moved to Virginia in March of this year after spending about 15 months in Colorado.  I also have a cat and 2 dogs.  I am a stay at home mom for the time being and I have enrolled at Northern Virginia Community College.  I am going for my teaching degree and I am excited and nervous all at the same time!  I am on cafemom for support in everything I do, for friends since I am new to this state, and so I can help others in things that I have already experienced.  If anyone needs to talk, just email me!  I'm always looking for new friends!
