I am the only parent of a high functioning autistic son. He is five and is a joy. As long as we stick to the routine all is right with the world. I work full time and have a part time job I fit around the schedule as I can. Dad is in and out of the picture. Its great when his is attentive and I manage when he's not. Until the little one is older we are Ok to let things ride as they are going until he can express his own opinion how his time gets shared. And to be honest I'm OK with getting all the holidays. I'ts been kind of lonely being an only parent who works and the autism gets to be a challange. I'm hoping to find other moms facing similiar issues.
