I feel like I truly began my life in 1999 when I met my husband Joe.  We met online in a chat room for recovering Dead Heads and instantly became friends.  We've been together for eight years and married for four.  We recently became parents for the first time.  Our daughter Cassidy is ten months old and is my existence. 

My husband and I are both agnostic/atheist, and Jewish by tradition, but are very tolerant of other religions and will teach our daughter about them all so that she has a well rounded view point to base her decisions on.  If anything, we belong to the church of Jerry Garcia!  Politically, we're as far left liberal as they come, and unfortunately, we're not so tolerant of some of the mouthy consertives in the world who insist on spewing their hatred and bigotry.  I don't talk about my beliefs, and I don't really care to hear about yours (unless we're in agreement, then we can talk).  Otherwise, lets agree to disagree.

I'm a champion for causes I believe in and will not stand to listen to people be berated based on their opinions or believes.  There is a reason why the freedom of speech, freedom of religion, etc. or in the 1st amendment.  People who have the same view points as me tend to love me immediately while others detest me immediately.  I'm not the type of person who grows on people.  You either get it or you don't. 

Besides spending time with my family, I love to cook, watch TV and learn.  We live in Phoenix, Arizona where the sun shines almost every day and our lowest temperature (even in the dead of winter) is still above freezing.
