I came from a family that is mixed-race, my mother is native, my father is white. I grew up going to pow wows since I was a baby. My grandparents were very instrumental in keeping me connected to my roots. I love to do beadwork, crafting, and i also paint contemp.native art. I use to sell much of my art work at several galleries, but since adopting Makayla I have not found much time to do any crafting or painting. I am hoping as she gets older I can get back to the brushes.
I love cooking when we have large groups of family and friends over, so they have given me the nickname " frybread momma." When together we love to joke, laugh, and share stories.
I also love gardening and fishing. I love the outdoors and nothing is more calming to me than having my hands in the dirt planting.
mom2makayla hasn't decided what she's having for dinner yet.

It's ok. I usually just pop in here real quick. Idk I guess I've lost some of the need to talk to people I don't know well. If you have a facebook account you can always find me there. I check that place a few times a day. Hope the new year is bringing good things your way as well! Take care! :-)
