One stepdaughter was challenging enough, but to have 5, wow. Did you all get married as a family? We did. Our three girls stood up with us, we had no best man or maid of honor, just the 5 of us at the altar. Even the minister put the words two families blending to become one. So we really never use the words step in our family. The three girls are sisters in every sense of the word.
