I'm a Mom of a 24 year old Navy son,a Step Mom to a 27 year old daughter,and a Gramma to a 4 almost 5 year old Grand daughter.I am closer to the big 50 than to 40 and starting to go through "The Change" ..YUCK!  I really don't enjoy an empty nest.Enjoy everyday you have with your kids while you have them,you don't realize how fast the time flies by and then they are off living their lives.I do miss the hustle and crazy times! Now I'm learning who I am,and trying to like myself. Let's see..I like to hunt for antiques, Quilting for the past year, walking my 2 dogs{ Daisy and Pita,both mutts that were strays}I also have 3 kitties..Peanut, Peaches,and Penelope{strays also} Oh and I have been married to my husband for15 years,we just got back from Kauai for our Anniversary.I've been trying to stay busy since my son deployed, finding this alot of fun!
