I want to thank you for writing to me--I don't get on my chatterbox much.
Especially right now, because my mother had another nasty fall and has been in the hospital then a rehab center.
I just want to thank you for all of the advice you give in the LDS group. As a member who is inactive your kind words really inspire me and remind me of how true the church really is. Thanks again :)
Thanks for all the thoughts and prayers... been thinking of you all.. and am going to start sticking my head back in... I missed everyone...
you have 9 kids. wow. I have 4. Wanted 6. But mine are so close together and I was so tired after my 4th was born. So I decided to focus on my 4. Maybe later I will have more who knows. I wold like to adopt some day. But I would wait until my husband was out of the military. He doesn't have much time to spend with us now. Have a goodnight.

I have made children and families my life's work. Through writing my columns, articles, and books and as a speaker, I've shared my good and bad experiences raising nine children to independent, happy (relatively) adulthood.
I believe we all must rely on a Higher Power and keep a sense of humor. The thing I detest the most is that polite discourse and conversations are almost non-existent. It's not enough to disagree with somebody, you have to destroy them if their views are different from yours.
I have friends from all races, cultures, and religions and I believe in freedom of speech. But I don't believe that freedom extends to character assassination or yelling "fire" in a crowded auditorium.
