I was born and raised in Pittsburgh, PA. In my younger days I was a party hardy girl and could have told you the day and location of every happy hour in Allegheny County!

I left da 'Burgh in 2000 for greener pastures and ended up in Kansas City.

I met my husband Jeff there shortly after arriving. I guess it's a good thing I moved!

Our son Levi is 5 years old and in Kindergarten. We are still surprised that he made it this far without us killing him somehow! :)

I love the color red and emerald green. Not necessarily together though.

I actually get along with my MIL. In fact, if not for her, I may not have met Jeff. She introduced us.

I am a say what I think kind of person. I don't sugarcoat and am not politically correct. I say what I think and I don't really care who likes it. I'm not interested in what people want to hear. If I am asked, I answer honestly. If you don't want the truth, ask someone else. If you don't like my answer, you shouldn't have asked. This trait has been known to get me into trouble but at least I can't be dubbed a liar!

I would like to go back to work, preferably doing something online. I like to be home, which is close to school if something happens to my son. But I would like to have something besides housework to do with my time and also to make some extra money. Jeff works and does well, but who can't use more money?
