We have been trying to have a baby for years now.  Three surgical procedures, one ectopic pregnancy, a few failed implantations...The RE suggested IVF with donor eggs or a surro.  So...We hired a surrogate from Illinois who shares my same first name and completely scammed us.  She refused to go to the doctor to prove claims of pregnancy, did not have insurance despite the fact we were paying insurance premiums, even tried to extort $250/day to continue a pregnancy that she refused to allow us to confirm.  Eventually her claims of pregnancy included twins, then that they were her own twins, then she goes on Twitter to announce to the world that she miscarries twins, followed by claims of having a late term abortion of OUR TWINS  at 15 weeks.  Our over-all ability to trust another person to carry our baby is devastated.
