  • Personal Statement

    I had my baby boy at 38, and now at 40 I have a 1 yr old who is FANTASTIC and ADORABLE. (We struggled with infertility, but succeeded without needing procedures). His name is Kaden Evan. I have a stepson we don't see named Tyler who is a tween.

    I am now a SAHM, but hoping to find a job soon. I love being with my baby but we really need the $$ and I prefer to be in the public. Not sure what type of job I will get, but I am not too picky.

    I am married to a guy that we knew over and over again. He is a police officer and an Army Drill Sgt. He made us move to Pensacola, FL and I am just not adjusting to the change and being forced to move. We are staying with my parents while we do some house hunting.

    If anyone is in the Pensacola area, it would be nice to make at least 1 friend.

A Boy with Autonomic Dysfunction - The Miller Family

Our Special Life

Oliver was born after having suffered a stroke while in his mother's womb. The resulting brain injury is called Dysautonomia (Autonomic Dysfunction). His doctors believe the stroke was the result of the miscarriage of his twin. Oliver is completely blind and his underdeveloped brain stem makes basic physical functions a challenge. In spite of all this, he is a happy, go-lucky, 12-year-old boy, and his mom wants people to meet the real Oliver, not just his medical hardships.
