I have a great family: wonderful kids and a very supportive, loving husband! I work full-time, volunteer on the school Parent Advisory Committee on 'special needs' services, and volunteer on the Special School District (unique to my area) Parent Advisory Committee as President (we service 23 'partner districts' and the children who recieve services in them - about 30,000!). WHEW! LOL!

I like to use humor where I can - life is too full of stress not to find humor in the 'everyday' things.

I feel very strongly about advocating for all children, but especially for those who get singled out as 'different' - for whatever reason. Every child should be made to feel special, successful, loved and comfortable, no matter where they are or who they are with. I look forward to chatting with everyone!
