I am a 29 year old wife and mom in Tennessee.

I have been married for 7years. I have a 6 y/o boy and my baby girl was born in Feb 2008.

I am a born again Christian and am trying to raise my kids with the morals that seem so lacking in today's society. This is one reason we have decided to begin our will be second grader homeschooling next year. We are preparing now and are very excited! 

Politically, I am independant b/c I think the party system is ridiculous, but I am a conservative. I am VERY pro-life, I think gun control means using both hands, and I love our country and know that freedom isn't always free. Yes, I'm that God fearing, gun toting, flag waving conservative that Obama warned you about!

I am also against homosexuality but it is not a matter of a phobia. Love the person, hate the action.

Along with the kids, we have 3 dogs and 1 cat. We stay pretty busy. But I try to stay organized and keep it all going smoothly.

My family is trying to go greener and healthier. We are recycling as much as possible, conserving energy when we can, trying to eat more organic, eat vegetarian meals sometime, and are trying to cut back on the chemicals we put into our bodies.

Though I am a christian and put prayer on the top of my list I also do believe in meditate, the power of mind over matter (only to a point though) and try to keep negative energy out of our home.

My husband is a musician and going to school to get into the recording industry. He hopes to have his own recording studio one day. He was in a band as a teen and met Travis Wyrick, who was a real inspiration to him.  Travis is still in the industry and has won some Dove awards, .

My son is in first grade. He is a cub scout. He is going to be playing baseball and football next year and is starting karate after the holidays. He likes superheros, reading, science, and his Bible stories. My daughter is only 16 months but she is a firecracker already! She lets you know how she feels. My son was always so quiet so this is a new experience.

We are members of Belle Aire Baptist Church (http://www.belleaire.org/) and we love it! The children's program is phenomenal b/c they know how important it can be to get to them young. Everyone there is so wonderful.

Okay, that's gives you a good summary of me and my family! I don't get a chance to get out much so I hope to hear from you soon to give me some adult conversation, lol.
