    Ok well Emma's culture came back from the lab and it was negative so they said to stop the medicine. She has her 4 month check up tomorrow, so I'll let ya know how it goes! Deep Creek??!!! I am so jealous!!! Did ya see the new pics I have posted of Emma in her Bumbo? This thing is great!! Have a blast and love ya!!

    Aiden has an ear infection and really red throat so he is on amoxicilin too. he weighed in at 20.3 pounds. I cannot believe how big our kids are getting. Well we are off to a w/e away (alone) to Deep Creek. I can't wait. Love Yas

    I haven't been there yet, but sounds awesome! I had to take Emma to dr yesterday. She has a urinary infection that he said she most likely got from going poop. YUCK! So, now she's on amoxicillan. She seems ok though. Oh, she weighs 17.5 pounds! Can you believe it!

Our Special Life

Oliver was born after having suffered a stroke while in his mother's womb. The resulting brain injury is called Dysautonomia (Autonomic Dysfunction). His doctors believe the stroke was the result of the miscarriage of his twin. Oliver is completely blind and his underdeveloped brain stem makes basic physical functions a challenge. In spite of all this, he is a happy, go-lucky, 12-year-old boy, and his mom wants people to meet the real Oliver, not just his medical hardships.
