My name is Marcia Vasquez and I am a teacher, elementary, recently turn 45 years old (June 3rd) and still childless; not because I haven't try; believe me I did my best. After 9 unsuccessful IUI I lost hope.
But, you know, some people say "money isn't everything" but hey it's a great help. Let me tell you..... I can't adopt, thru an agency, because the fees are horrible then I thought about IVF with an egg donor; my health insurance does not cover not even a penny!
Then I thought a surrogate mother who can have an IUI or IVF (with my hubby sperm), once again my insurance does not cover and those fees are ridiculous. Once again, I am back right where I started....still childless. God will provide I guess!!
Benefits here in Georgia are not that good, some other states are better; maybe I should relocate to another state but I love my job here, my school (I am a teacher) and foremost my students.
I personally and honestly believe that those high fees required for an adoption (with an agency), are just obstacles that "prospective" mothers or parents (PAP) must face should be lowered. Why spending that kind of money in obtaining the child?? Instead of using it in providing him/her a wonderful life!?
I am really highly interested in a domestic adoption, hopefully a private one.![]()
