Me in summary?  I have two children, married to a man I've known for over 17 years, have a great career, college graduate.  Life wasn't easy, but I survived.  I believe in the kindness of strangers, the strength of a mother and the power of voice.  I'm not religious, but I believe in Karma and reincarnation, although I was raised Catholic.  I love sports.  My favorite is basketball.  I grew up in the San Francisco Bay Area, but may move out to the Sacramento area.  I'm looking to make friends of all different backgrounds.  I believe in charity and humanity and want my children to believe the same.  It's  a hard cold world sometimes, but I think we can make it better a little bit at a time if we really tried. 

 I do charity work for a battered women's and children's shelter and some for a soup kitchen.  I would do more, but my job keeps me very busy.  I love to shop and spend money, which is why I need the job.  I am a member of the NAACP and Southern Poverty Law Center, both social and civil groups.  I also have an at home business which I run on the side.  It was really easy to start up and also helps change the world a little bit at a time.  I get a monthly check for that, so it helps out with extra cash.  If you are interested, send me a message and I'll give you the details.
