I've lived in Springfield MO (but soon moving to OH) for about five years.  I was born and raised in Chicago IL. and to be honest the "homesick" feeling never completely goes away.

We tied the knot in June 2007, we had a beautiful ceremony and a great reception with our closest friends and immediately family members. However the biggest surprise was yet to come. In late July we found out I was expecting !!

Sofia was born March 1st and my life has completely change since. I love my baby girl more than I could have ever imagined.

Ten Things about me (in no particular order):

10. I have a Culinary arts degree. I love to cook and it's what I do for a living. It's also what wears me out (besides Sofia).

9. I am the oldest of five and have only one brother.

8. I am a first time mom and I have two step-sons.

7. I love to take pictures, I only wish I was better at it...

6. I am fluent in Spanish (read, speak, write)

5. I love to read (Spanish & English) listen to music (Spanish & English).

4. I am very family oriented and it breaks my heart to be so far from my loved ones.

3. I'm addicted to reality TV shows

2. I never learned how to swim :0(

1. I love to vacation outside the U.S. and experiance other cultures. Unfortunately DH doesn't.
