My dream has always been to be a SAHM and for a while I wasn't sure that dream would ever be a reality. I was a 7th and 8th grade Language Arts teacher for two years, which I loved but I felt I was missing something. Then a wonderful man bought my lunch at Quiznos and we have been inseparable ever since.
In 2010 I became a SAHM to our daughter Emlyn and 15 months later we welcomed her sister Taylun. We experienced a miscarriage this past April which rocked our family, but we trust God and thank Him for all the blessings He continues to give us. We will be expecting our 3rd girl in July, and God willing it will be through a VBA2C. My husband is a welder and plays bass on the worship team. He is such an amazing father and husband, and I thank God every day he bought my lunch. I love being a SAHM, even on the days I feel like I'm going crazy.
I joined my local MOPS group and encourage every mom of young children to find one in their area. Right now my passions include sign language (Signing Time is amazing resource) and pregnancy and birth. I live in a city which is not at all VBAC friendly and find it ridiculous that this is the case and am therefore learning all I can to make an informed decision and be able to see it through as well as help others.
Thanks for reading my super long personal statement; I hope we can be friends! :-)
