I do get to stay home with him. It isn't easy but I think my heart would completely break if I had to leave him with someone else every day. I have always wanted to be a SAHM. My mom was to us.

As far as the carseat. if the feet are hanging over you have to get a forward facing one no matter the age. If you were in an accident his feet could impact into the car and break his legs. I got this info first hand from the hospital I delivered at. It really goes by weight and length. Landon was too long at 6 months so we got him a forward facing one then. He actually likes it better that he can see us and out the window. Plus it's SO much easier and safer.
