My friends and family nearly had a stroke when I told them I was pregnant! I felt very strongly that I did not want to have children and everyone knew it. I was very shocked and devastated to learn my life was taking this turn. Of course the devastation soon turned into excitement and optimism. I have to say that I must have been insane to think I never wanted this experience. My daughter is the best thing thats ever happened to me besides my husband. Its unexplainable joy. I've never loved anyone this much! Of course adjusting to my new life has been a bit difficult at times which is why I signed up. I could use some mommy support. My husband and I have been so used to being on our own and being spontaneous that this structure (though it may have been needed) is really hard sometimes. So I'm looking forward to meeting all of you moms out there!
