  • Personal Statement

    I am a 21 yr old mother to a very intergetic 5 yr old. I am 20 weeks pregnant with baby #2! I am married to my high school sweetheart, who Ive known since we were in the 4th grade. Our daughter Alexis was born with a blood problem that causes her to have frequent blood transfusions, it is called Pyruvate Kinase Deficiency.  She is my hero due to the fact that she deals so good with having to have her blood levels checked all the time and does an excellent job sitting still when they are getting her transfusion started. We go tomorrow to find out the sex of baby #2. Lex is so excited she cant wait to be a big sister. expecting baby
