My name is Jana Troutt. I am 44 years-old. I’m   the mother of 4 children. My youngest son Paul, who is 12, was diagnosed with PDD with autistic and Asperger’s traits. It was difficult getting him diagnosed. He was ill with so many allergies, asthma, and GI problems. We got the usual, “It’s your parenting” crap from the doctors. Paul learned to walk and talk at the appropriate ages at first. His lack of learning new words, his eye contact and socialization began to wane around the age of 2-3. He ended up with the same vocabulary from the age of 2 to 5. Paul is a video game wiz but just learned to tie his shoes at the age of 12. He has frequent meltdowns. Repetitive and regimented behavior. He has the social graces of a 3 year old. We have a Dan Dr. and have been giving Paul B-12 injections and doing chelation therapy. He has improved in every area since we started these.    I have been married to my husband Gary for 24 years.  He is a Navy Veteran.  He is now a nurse.  I have been a nurse for 18 years but have been a stay at home mom for the past 2. I’m fortunate to say that my kids have only been in Day Care for a combined total of less than a month of their lives. I am a “Reagan Republican”…I am Pro-life… I am anti-vax...I love sports!
