Hugs!!! I heard Lawrence Hill speak a couple of months ago. He wrote "Somebody Knows My Name" (I think that's the US title) and he talked about going to a juvie jail on a special project. His goal was to get the boys reading and what he learned was most of the kids didn't read because it hadn't been valued. They couldn't discuss anything with people in their family and without that, the reading just didn't happen. Sadly, people undervalue time spent together as a family. Hugs!!!
