I am a happily married mother of three living in beautiful downtown Herald, CA (If you've ever been here, you'd know why that's funny lol)  My three children are all attending the same elementary school that I attended and we are loving our country living.  My husband is self-employed and I telecommute from home which gives me the opportunity to be very involved in my childrens' lives.  My son plays football and basketball and is in community planning and conflict resolution programs.  My daughters are both cheerleaders and compete at the state level (my oldest will go to Nationals next year) in baton twirling.  Both of my older kids are in band. 

I have recently decided to start following my heart and my mind and have openly started following a Pagan path.  I would prefer not to discuss religion in a debate format.  If anyone is interested in a discussion on theology in general, I'm more than happy to do that :)

I joined CafeMom awhile ago and I am completely addicted.  It is a fantastic resource for information, meeting other women of all paths in life and just generally discussing womanhood/motherhood with a group of like-minded individuals.

I have recently re-discovered my love of debate.  I joined a debate group on CafeMom and have been enjoying the hell out of it.  Forgot how much fun and how informative and strength-building debate can be.  Check out "Smart Chicks~ a debate group".... you'll dig it! I promise.

I am an open book.  If you have a question: ask me.  If you don't REALLY want to know the truth you better not ask.  I am honest and open and outspoken.  I am not typically easily offended, but can get nasty if you cross the line.

I am: pro-choice, anti-death penalty, pro-same sex marriage, anti-ILLEGAL immigration, pro-healthcare reform, pro-prisoners rights, anti-organized religion and pro-prison reform.  I believe in tolerance and I don't believe in "studies".  I think the media rules our fear and those fears make us easier to 'control'.  I believe that history should be taught accurately.  If you can't (aren't allowed to) tell the truth of what is historically accurate then don't teach it or speak of it at all.

I fully support the movement to FREE THE WEST MEMPHIS THREE.  I think that anyone and everyone should educate themselves on this case.  It's a complete travesty and injustice and it's sickening that it has continued for 14+ years now.
