  • Personal Statement

    If you asked me ten years ago where I thought I'd be when I turned 25, I never would have said where I am now.  I have an amazing husband who takes care of me and loves me like no one else ever could.  I have a gorgeous 3 year old daughter who can make even the iciest hearts melt with her laugh.  I just had an incredible VBAC that brought my son into the world, and am going to be a SAHM for a few months (more if we can swing it).  I am obsessed with anything related to childbirth and plan to become a doula and a midwife as soon as our financial situation allows it.  I love to spread information and help women avoid the hardships I endured with my first birth and experience the ecstasy of my second.  Things aren't always good, but I really can't complain most of the time.  Any of the bad things are more than worth what I have, and I wouldn't change a thing about my life.

    :) i love babies! It's been kind of difficult for Ava to see me with Parker all the time. I put her in this portable playpen w/bassinet during her daily naps so Ava and I can play together. But all I want to do is sit and cuddle her all day.

    Ah! You too?? I was attributed the fussiness Parker was having at some times to my breasts not working properly?? Ava never took a pacifier and Parker doesn't like them either. SOMETIMES she likes to be swaddled... but the majority of the time I'm positive she just wants to be up near me? I desperately desire a baby sling. Have a better day, btw!

    wow@ getting your period already! Im six weeks PP and i still havent stopped the PP bleeding!! Maybe its just some extra PP bleeding that didnt come right away for you too?
