  • About me...I never know what to say..

    About ME:
    • Full-time working mother of 2 boys, ages 13 and 9. Married, 22 years.
    • We have a very large, loveable, Rhodesian Ridgeback. I didn't really want him at first, but now we can't imagine life without him. A friend once told me, "He will become one of the great loves in your life". She was right.
    • I spend time on the computer out of boredom, I guess. I like to network with other Ridgeback owners, and share photos of our dogs.
    • What I enjoy most is music. Not rap, hip-hop, or country. I love rock and roll, classic and alternative. Silence is deadly. I don't function without music.
    • My secret wish is for one of my boys to play guitar. I would learn, but my brain is not wired for deep concentration. I stay on the surface of things, observing.
    •  I am very afraid of severe weather. I live in Hurricane Alley, and it drives me crazy.
    • Our family is truly WIRED. We have 4 family members, and 6 computers! At times we are all online! I know that is crazy, but.... that's us.
    • When the internet is down, we call that "Unplugged". It's miserable.
    • We are all gadget freaks. I love my Mp3 player (Creative Zen),  my iPhone, my laptop, and my digital camera.
    • Some things I dislike are:
      • litter
      • ice-chewing
      • whistling while my music is playing
      • obnoxious people
      • being afraid
      • severe weather (hurricanes)
      • whining and complaining
      • dirty floors
      • people that don't "want" a cell phone
    • Some things I like:
      • discovering new things
      • playing around online
      • gadgets>> mp3players (Zen/Sansa), my iPhone, digital camera
      • photography, editing images with Picasa
      • watching people
      • travel
    • I'm still working on this about me stuff...Just ask if you want t know.
