I am 53 years young and am married 26 years this past  June 23rd to Mark. He is my first and only husband and we are extremely close.

I was born and raised on Long Island, New York and living here in CA, they hear my accent and know I'm from back east!

I became a teacher and taught for 20 years back in NY. For personal family reasons, my husband and I left NY in 1994 and headed to Florida to be my mom's caretaker.

Ten years later, in 2004, mom  passed and we headed to CA, land of the redwoods, where my husband, who is 10 years my senior, wanted to retire.

We have a special  boy, now 16, getting a better education here than in FL, and loving it here.He had his Bar-Mitzvah in 2008 and is now attending an independent study program for high school.

 I love the Lord and became born again in 1998. I am a Messianic Christian and was baptized by the Holy Spirit in May 2008.  What an awesome experience! Read my testimony in my journal.

As of right now, fall 2011, I am battling bladder cancer. I am newly diagnosed and hope to have chemo and surgery soon.
