My name is Becky. I am 21 and a single mom. I have a beautiful daughter named Riley. She was born on July 18th, 2008. I am a stay at home mom for the time being. I plan to go to nursing school next fall. I am made some mistakes that have changed my life in a short period of time. And no I don't mean my daughter. I mean like not taking school as seriously I should have when I was there. Now I am having to rush through school to support my daughter.

I just assumed that when I had kids I would be married to the man of my dreams and we would live happily ever after. I learned quick that life is not like a fairy tale. I just wish I could find that special someone for me. That someone who would except my daughter even though she is not HIS. And would treat us right. Still not too sure I am ready to settle down. I still want to be just free and all. Can't do too much of that with a child.

Right now my life is a big mess and for some reason it feels right. With all the chaos and lack of organization and lets not forget the constant "Where the heck did I put my wallet" I am okay with it. I feel like my life is where it should be and I for the most part am genuinely happy. Despite a few minor set backs.

 My daughter is the love of my life and she makes my life so much more. I live for every precious sweet moment we have together. Like when we are driving in the car and she is getting sleepy and she reaches for my hand to hold while she falls asleep. Or when she is just soooooo excited to see me in the morning and throws herself on my to hug and kiss me.

I know that I am still very young, but I feel that I know a lot for my age. I have experienced a lot  and have had to make very grown up decisions. I have a very mature side, but I am a kid at heart and am sooo excited I get to let that side out with my daughter.

If there is anything else you want to know you can ask. I love to talk and meet new people. I am trying to make some friends who are moms of course that I can relate too. I have a couple of friends with children but all they want to do is leave their kids with their parents and go party. I feel like once you have a child its your responsibility to be there for them and I mean you can go out of course but not like going out ALL the time and never interacting with you children. Another story for another time because I will go on  and on about that topic. Anyway.
