2.I have been married for 8 (together 9-in 2010)years.

8.We moved to MN almost 4 years ago (my husband is from here, I'm orginally from Phoenix,Az)

10.I am in the process of loosing weight-40lbs down,70lb to go.

Hey,everyone my name is Rose and I'm new to cafemom.I am the mom of a very energetic,happy,friendly boy named James who is 7.I have been married for 8 years.We live in Otsego,MN.I am here at cafemom looking to make friends and hopefully make playdates for James.James loves to play with everyone and everything lol.I found out  that James has Autism and we have been learning sign language to help him communicate.James does talk too.He is very outgoing and very friendly.He is in 1st grade.I am still working with him at home,trying to catch up on his communication skills.I did not know much about autism until recently.Everyone thinks and learns in a different way.James is very happy,healthy,smart boy.He has an incredible memory.He loves to make others happy and laugh.He is good at sharing.He loves to build things and explore.I found out that there are a lot of misconceptions about autism.Autism does not mean slow thinker or slow moving.James loves to dance,and run and sing.I have been researching people that have/had learning "disabilties" like Albert Einstein,Abraham Lincoln,Thomas Edison,Leonardo Da Vinci,Thomas Jefferson.I love meeting new people and making new friends,so feel free to send me a message.
