  • Personal Statement

    I was born & lived in California for 18 years. Joined the army as the 1st female field wireman at 18. Was stationed in Germany then Colorado Springs. Liked Colorado so much I decided to make it my permanent home.

    I have 2 boys who are now 36 and 34. I moved to Leadville CO 34 years ago to work in a mine. The mine closed so I went to school and worked. My 2nd husband and I have one child, Gabriella, she is 20. She has 2 sons. 

    I got a job in Southern Colorado so my husband could retire in 2009. Our daughter her fience and their 2 children also moved to southern colorado to be near us.
